WATER QUALITY REPORT: MOULTON NIGUEL DELIVERING SAFE & CLEAN WATER

graphicSafe and reliable water service is Moulton Niguel’s highest priority.

To deliver on that commitment, Moulton Niguel conducts extensive water quality tests throughout the year. State-of-the-art laboratories independently analyze the tests to ensure that our water adheres to the strict safety standards set by the Environmental Protection Agency and the State Water Resources Control Board.

This year’s water quality report is available online at mnwd.com/2023ccr. Copies of the report are also available at the District’s office at 26161 Gordon Road in Laguna Hills.

INFRASTRUCTURE INVESTMENT: REGIONAL FORCE MAIN REPLACEMENT PROJECT

Moulton Niguel continues to invest in our robust water and wastewater infrastructure system.

As part of that investment, we have begun work to replace nearly two miles of sewer pipelines within Laguna Niguel Regional Park. The new force mains are critical infrastructure and, when completed, will convey a majority of the wastewater in our service area.

We are happy to report that the project is primarily funded by a $10.3 million Federal Emergency Management Agency Hazard Mitigation grant. The new pipelines will ensure safe and reliable wastewater service for our community for decades to come.

Overwatering and inefficient irrigation systems can lead to urban runoff, carrying pollutants from landscapes into storm drains, which ultimately flows to local creeks, watersheds, and beaches.

Here are FOUR EFFECTIVE WAYS to reduce outdoor watering and use water responsibly:
